Where Gardens Bring Neighbors Together
At Great Park Neighborhoods, fresh herbs and crisp veggies are always in season thanks to the community gardens and greenhouses at Parasol Park and Pavilion Park. These spaces offer a simple, hands-on way to enjoy the outdoors while bringing neighbors together.

The greenhouse at Pavilion Park is our Collections Greenhouse, featuring tropical varieties like mango, papaya, and star fruit. Nearby, a smaller garden area with four beds offers seasonal plantings.

The greenhouse at Parasol Park is primarily used as a workspace and is only open during scheduled events. Surrounding the greenhouse, a larger garden area features 15 beds, an herb garden, and fruit trees, creating a space that’s always evolving and inviting to explore.

Across both Pavilion Park and Parasol Park, harvesting is limited to items marked with a “Harvest Me!” flag. Items without a flag are still growing and should be left untouched.

Each greenhouse offers an easygoing place to stop by, explore, and enjoy something seasonal. Whether you’re checking in on what’s growing or simply spending a quiet moment outdoors, it’s all part of everyday life at Great Park Neighborhoods. The gardens and greenhouses, located within Parasol Park and Pavilion Park, are available exclusively for residents to enjoy.

We Made It a Garden Day

Our Neighborhood Garden Day at Parasol Garden on March 25th was a perfect day to be outside, bringing residents together to get hands-on, learn something new, and have a little fun along the way.

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help harvest and replant the garden beds, while others spent time learning about what’s growing and connecting with neighbors and nature. Residents also learned more about the plants in both greenhouses and how to spot the right time for harvesting. To top it all off, each participant took home a small tomato plant, a simple reminder of a day well spent growing together.
